How did you find Top Ten Blog Tips? Below are 10 possible answers - they might even help you think of ways to get new people to your blog.
My stats suggest that very few people are finding Top Ten Blog Tips via a search engine. This is probably because the site is still very new. If you found this blog by searching, which search engine did you use and what did you search for?
A few blogs have me in their blogroll. If you found my blog that way, which blog were you on when you clicked the link? (Hopefully you ended up here - I'm just curious to know where you came from!)
It's always nice when another blogger links to you. It can be a great way to get people to check out your blog. This includes guest posts written for my blog, where the author linked to my blog from theirs.
I don't make a habit of emailing people to say "check out my blog", but I do include three links in my email signature. This is a nice way to remind people about my sites without being too pushy.
Examples include StumbleUpon, Digg, Reddit, BlogCatalog, or Entrecard. These can be a great boost for your best posts, but many of these sites don't seem to generate comments (especially StumbleUpon and Digg) unless it's someone who already knows your blog. If you found my blog this way, did you come via the homepage or did you "stumble upon" a specific post?
My first guest post at ProBlogger.net - 10 reasons to avoid mailto links - was a really good way to get more people checking out my blog. I've written a few other guest posts, but they linked to my old blog at benbarden.com.
I haven't had much time for Plurk recently, but I've been using Twitter quite a bit. As long as you don't just post links, Twitter is a great way to get people to check out your blog. I find quite a few new blogs this way, too.
Initially, the CMF forums were simply an extension of my blog, originally called "Top Ten Blog Tips - Forums". But they have now become part of a larger plan (mwahaha!). There's less focus on my blog and more focus on providing a place where bloggers go for help. This is good!
These days, I only really use the CMF forums, but I have been known to use a few other forums too. Posting on forums is a great way to meet other bloggers.
This may seem like a cop-out, but this list needs an option for "Other", so this is it. If you want a 10th point, I'll add this one as a bonus: instant messengers. I use them frequently, so it's quite possible you found my blog as a result of a message I sent you via MSN, Yahoo, Google Talk or some other instant messenger.
Those are the possible answers - what's your answer? And how many of these have worked for your blog?

I don't remember which blog I found you through -- but it was from a post mentioning what blogging blogs they read everyday to keep up with the times, I suppose :D
Either way, you're in my google reader & I always check out your posts.
Fabulous.

# 6. Your guest post on problogger.com. :)
Another blog Injader is used on - Gallery Standouts. I was looking around in August for new website design and spent a lot of time reading all your blogging tips. Then I joined the forum, and the rest is history!
Now this is an unique and genious post.
My answer is from Entrecard! :)
I found you through the much bashed Entrecard.
It's good to see such a range of ways you all found my blog! :D

I clicked on a CMF ad placed on the EntreBlast blogsite. I was attracted to the double five domino advert. Very cute and original, with good color and clarity.
Hey Doug - thanks. Glad people are clicking on the ads I place :)
I found this site through a search engine keyword blogging tips. Excellent site I will be returning often great content on the blogging space. I most recently been on a search finding what ways generate the best "sticky traffic" I have some links that get me a ton of hits but they don't find my content interesting.
Thanks Mike - glad you enjoy the site.
Honestly I don't know how I found you, but I originally found "Top Ten Reasons Not To Post Too Frequently". I suspect I found you from problogger.com. Did you guest post there?
I get most of my traffic from search engines or a link from another blog post.
