10 reasons to visit the CMF Forums

1. Friendly faces.

Friendly faces frequent the CMF Forums. Even if not all of the members use their real faces, such as Laura and her stick figure doodle. Or Turnip and his... turnip.

2. A mix of blogging discussion and off-topic discussion.

A decent amount of blog-related discussions combined with some off-topic posts gives a good balance. Talk blog if you want, or just chat if you prefer. Or do both at the same time and see who notices.

3. The ad network.

The forums are the central meeting point for CMF Ads, which is a low cost, no-nonsense ad network. Don't be fooled by the fact this is point #3. While the forums are where it's at, don't forget to use the ad network.

4. Technical support for your blog.

The Blog Discussion forum isn't just for general blog-related chat. Some of the members have a wealth of technical knowledge and will be only too happy to answer your queries. No longer will your cries for help be in vain. Now, you can use the support forum as your very own helpdesk. It's even open around the clock, although the replies might not be immediate, as a few of us sleep occasionally.

5. Exchange ideas and services.

The Noticeboard forum is your go-to place for guest posts, design services, paid blogging jobs and collaborative post writing. It's classified ads, sales, and a wanted board all in one. What more could you want? Ah yes, the remaining five reasons of this list... so let's continue...

6. Critique.

You can get feedback on your blog, or suggest ways to improve other people's blogs. We can't all be perfect, but with carefully-constructed constructive criticism, we can move ever closer to that goal. Or further away, if doing the opposite to what people suggest is what you like to do.

7. Networking.

Posting comments on a blog is a way to share your feedback with the author of the post, but how often do you really get to know the other commenters? Now's your chance to network with some other bloggers, discover new blogs, and get your own blog seen by more people.

8. The Shop.

This isn't actually part of the forums, but it's linked from the sidebar. The Shop goes one step further than the Noticeboard, allowing you to buy and sell products and services using CMF credits. There's a growing array of items for you to buy.

9. Staff who care.

At the CMF Forums, moderators and administrators are not only stopping in to check for spam or to lock threads. The staff engage with the community. We care!

10. By bloggers, for bloggers.

All of CMF was set up by bloggers. The forums are focused on being both useful and enjoyable. The network as a whole is there to benefit YOU, the blogger.

Come and join the CMF Forums today. You'll be glad you did!

Have you joined yet? Have you referred any other members?

I'm relatively new in this forum, but it sure sounds great to join. Always prefer a Spam-free & well organized forum. For me, to have the sense of belonging in the forum while getting useful info, having fun, meet with other bloggers are essential. Haven't get the chance to try out CMF Ads just yet although got the widget installed. We'll see.
